Friedensreich Hundertwasser (December 15, 1928 - February 19, 2000), also known as Friedensreich Hundertwasser or Mr. Hundertwasser, was an Austrian painter and sculptor. Climb up the hillside along the fence until you reach the top of the hill, and you will arrive in front of the white lighthouse. The path connecting the lawn and the reed field seems to be more attractive than the view from the top of the lighthouse. A few cows are scattered in the bushes, which reminds people of the name of the island. Unknown wild flowers sway in the wind, as romantic as a lyric poem. There are also miniature models of Sokcho Lighthouse and Buda Lighthouse on display here. The road to the lighthouse is very steep, and the elderly, weak and sick are not suitable for climbing. In addition, the "Eight Views of Udo" are the representative scenery of Udo, which includes four pairs of scenery: day and night (bright moon in the daytime, fishing sails at night), sky and earth (Tianjin Guanshan, Jitou Qingsha), front and back (front Puwang Island, Houhai Stone Wall), east and west (East Coast Whale Cave, West Coast White Sand). Below the towering Niutou Peak are Houhai Rock Wall and Dongan Whale Cave, two of the eight scenic spots on Niu Island. Houhai Rock Wall is 20m high and 30m wide, surrounding the Black Sand Beach, which is famous for its black sand beach. Dongan Whale Cave, located at the end of the beach, is one of the famous caves on Niu Island. It is also called the "nose cave" because it can accommodate whales from the east. Dongan Whale Cave has a cave inside the cave, and the entrance is only visible at low tide. It is another experience to enjoy the sky and sea view outside from inside the cave.
