The rail bike route stretches along the coastline of Yeongjong Island for about 5 kilometers. Visitors can take a specially made rail bike and slowly move along the abandoned railway tracks. These bikes have been cleverly modified to retain the characteristics of the railway and add a pedal power system, allowing visitors to participate in the ride themselves. The route is designed with the needs of viewing in mind. On one side is the blue sea with waves lapping against the shore; on the other side is the natural scenery of Yeongjong Island with green trees, birdsong and flowers. Different scenery is presented here in different seasons: in spring, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom, in summer, you can feel the refreshing sea breeze, in autumn, the golden reeds swaying in the wind, and in winter, you may even see floating ice on the sea. There are several special stations along the route. Visitors can stop and take photos on the viewing platform to capture the beautiful seascape. In the historical exhibition area, visitors can learn about the history of this abandoned railway and the development and changes of Yeongjong Island through illustrated panels. In addition to the cycling experience, the terminal has a themed Souvenir shop and rest area. Visitors can buy Souvenir with local characteristics or taste the special snacks of Yeongjong Island to put a perfect end to this journey. The Yeongjong Island Seaside Rail Bike allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of Yeongjong Island in a slow-paced way and feel the charm of the Korean coastline.
